Our bed and breakfast is ideally located between Lyon and Geneva, at the crossroads of the major North/South-East/West axes, in the countryside, at the foot of the Revermont mountain, the first foothills of the Jura, very close to Bourg en Bresse and its famous Royal Monastery of Brou. Tréconnas, a hamlet of houses with white stones, is located at the entrance of the village of Ceyzériat where you will find all the traditional shops.
The top floor just for you!
Once parked in the courtyard, you will discover this old farmhouse entirely renovated where the old and the modern blend with finesse and will access by the spiral staircase to the 2nd level of the house, yours:
The landing opens onto the two attic rooms. Spacious, they easily adapt to the configuration of your group: for 2 couples, you will appreciate the comfort of the kingsize and queen-size beds, for a family with children, each will find its place, single beds and double bed in differentiated spaces. Are you alone? Lucky you! You will enjoy it too.
You will notice the country-style decoration of the shower room. Practical, the dry toilets on your floor are completed by a traditional toilet which is reserved for you on the first floor. All the rooms are luminous, the skylights, real light wells.
The breakfast ... a real moment of pleasure.
I will have in heart to prepare you a pretty gourmet table with local products. You will appreciate the bread from the village and the homemade jam, the honey from my friend from Burgundy who is a beekeeper, the seasonal fruits, sometimes from the garden, the pastries and cakes, the dairy products from Etrez. You will start the day gently, by observing nature, the birds coming towards our huts in the beautiful season. When the weather is cooler, you will have lunch on the wooden table next to the stove. A tasty moment.
Passing through or traveling ?
You wish to stay ... I will be happy to guide you to good restaurants, for your nature and culture outings, your visits. You will have access to our kitchen and its equipment without any problem. You will be able to relax, devour one of the books in the library on the terrace, with your feet in the grass or by the fire, while the children will be able to play outdoor games or settle down in front of the big screen television after a sports outing.
You are just passing by... I'll be happy to give you an authentic relaxation break. But for sure, you will want to come back to discover the Ain and its treasures!
You travel for work ... A great way to get away from the usual impersonal hotels! Close to the freeway exits, you will benefit from the wifi and our spaces to work in the peace, almost a vacation air...
So for a "relaxing" or "working" stay, whether you are crazy about nature, sports, history or gastronomy, WELCOME HOME !
