Le Quatuor Akhtamar - Voyage musical haut en couleurs / JMF

First performed in Brussels, Akhtamar was selected for the Tremplin Jeunes Quatuors de la Philarmonie de Paris; it won 2nd prize at the Festival Musiq'3, then 3rd prize at the International Johannes Brahms Competition. Through the power of evocative music rich in a thousand emotions, the young musicians draw us into their world with works by Haydn, Dvorak, Brahms, Debussy and Armenian composers Komitas and Alécian. The Akhtamar Quartet has played at the most prestigious festivals, and their first CD, Légende arménienne, was awarded 4 stars by Classica and BBC Music Magazine!
