The Farm of Pomet

I am in charge of my small farm of 39 hectares since January 1st 2000. My herd is mainly composed of Charolais cattle. It is the most famous breed in the world. Each animal has its own temperament and I know them by heart. I started direct sales in 2001 (for the vacuum-packed meat boxes) and started the minced steak parcels in 2009, which quickly became a success that was not envisaged when I started the business. They are 100% muscle (no cartilage). As far as breeding is concerned, I usually say that I work as my parents did (who knew the "pro-intensive" years) but rather as my grandparents did who applied the good sense of nature. Naturally, some customers ask to see the animals, ask a lot of questions about being a breeder. Grandparents enjoy coming to shop with their grandchildren. I like to welcome them "at home".
