Arcadium Le Refuge, located in Bourg-en-Bresse, is much more than just a video game room: it's a veritable sanctuary for gaming enthusiasts, a place designed to rekindle community spirit and conviviality around gaming. Conceived by manager "Mike", this space was designed to bring together all generations around a common passion.

As soon as you enter, the atmosphere is set: subdued lighting, colorful neon lights, and the gentle din of arcade terminals reminiscent of the legendary arcades of the 80s and 90s. But Arcadium isn't just about nostalgia. There are high-end gaming PCs, ultra-realistic driving simulators, as well as the latest consoles like the PS5, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2. Over 8,000 games are available, ranging from retro classics like Street Fighter and Sonic to modern titles like FIFA 24, Forza Horizon 5 or Fortnite.

What sets Arcadium apart is its human approach. Here, game time is timed, but with flexibility: a break to chat, have a drink or go to the toilet? The timer stops. The aim is clear: to offer a relaxed, warm and inclusive experience, far removed from the pressure and isolation often associated with online gaming.
