  • From the foothills of the Revermont, take to the Bresse paths to discover the Fougemagne pond nestled in its forest.
From the ancient city of Coligny, you'll plunge into a panorama stretching to the edge of the Maconnais region, where the hamlets of Bresse emerge here and there.

  • It takes its name from the forest of the same name, whose origin lies in the undergrowth of tall ferns. This 3-hectare pond, now owned by the commune of Coligny, belonged to Gaspard Guyenard seigneur d'Andelot in the 18th century. It was used for hemp scutching, an operation that involved separating the woody parts from the fiber. Today, the pond is leased by the commune to the "Les amis du Solnan" fishing club.
