In a few words :
Virginia Woolf defied literary conventions to depict intense inner worlds - her sublimated reality, gripping and poignant. Choreographer-in-residence Wayne McGregor leads a luminous artistic team to evoke Woolf's characteristic stream-of-consciousness writing style in this mammoth work that rejects any traditional narrative structure. Woolf Works is a montage of themes from Mrs Dalloway, Orlando, The Waves and other Woolf works. Created in 2015 for the Royal Ballet, this Olivier Award-winning triptych captures the nature of Woolf's unique artistic spirit.
Directed by Wayne McGregor
