Hofesh Shechter in Bourg-en-Bresse is always an event.

After the success of From England with Love, the immense choreographer returns to the Scène nationale de Bourg-en-Bresse. Set to a soundtrack composed by himself, the dancers of Shechter II, selected from among the world's finest young talents, once again surprise us with the intensity of their interpretation.

Hofesh Schechter first came to public attention with his performance in Cédric Klapish's film En corps, and now he's thrilling audiences with his bold, impulsive choreography. In his new show, Hofesh Shechter invites us to explore the world of fantasy and the subconscious. He puts into dance the fears, hopes, desires and emotions that run through our unconscious and waking thoughts. Lighting master Tom Visser gives shape to this uncontrollable, chaotic wave, from which emerges a strange sense of clarity and reality.
