You've heard of the Sandman, the legendary character who puts children to sleep every night... but have you ever heard of his cousin? Every morning, she discreetly opens our eyes and wakes us from our slumber.
Named La Réveilleuse, it comes straight from the imaginations of the show's two artists, Camille Lachenal and Simon McDonnell, as does the varied and lively string of dance songs they perform with flare.
For La Réveilleuse is first and foremost a duo of original, free-spirited folk songs, written by four hands and sung by two voices. Accompanied by guitar, Irish flute, harmonica, percussion, clarinet and even an Indian shruti box, they extend their imaginary folklore far beyond the borders of Brittany, Ireland and Europe.
By the light of the lantern, it's high time to wake up and let yourself be caught up in this spellbinding atmosphere filled with waltz and mazurka rhythms... until, why not, you let yourself be drawn into the dance!
