During one of her lavish soirées, the famous Parisian courtesan Violetta is introduced to Alfredo Germont. They fall madly in love, and although she is reluctant to give up her life of luxury and freedom, Violetta follows her heart. As intimate as it is sumptuous, La traviata features some of the most famous melodies in operatic history, and stars Ermonela Jaho in the lead soprano role.
