The starting point for this creation is the Ballata refugee camp in Nablus on the West Bank, where the company's choreographers met children who offered them their dance, La Dabkeh. In the midst of hanging pennants, proud, whole bodies emerge, heads held high. From this absurd and magical image, the Dyptik company has created a visceral dance performance, inspired as much by hip-hop as by traditional dance and circus.

Feet pound the floor, hands pound the torso, bodies go wild. Eight dancers energize the public space in an immersive 360° show, where their super-powerful energy is transmitted into the crowd. The performers mingle with the audience. The boundaries between performer and audience are shattered, and a collective force emerges. In the end, Mirage is a lullaby that becomes a revolution, a call to union and love, in short, a funeral dirge that turns into a day of celebration. And we look forward to seeing you all at this very special celebration to open our 2025 / 26 season!
