This year, the Royal Monastery of Brou joins the 2nd national edition of monument en (pleine) forme, to experience Brou in a different way during an artistic fencing session!
(Re)discover artistic fencing with the Maisnie du Chevalier Bragon!
The Maisnie du Chevalier Bragon is a group of more than thirty members who are passionate about the Middle Ages and the Renaissance.
For one session, two instructors will lead a workshop entitled "Escrime ancienne, de l'ordalie au spectacle". You'll discover the practice of this art by learning the basics of fencing (high dodges, low dodges, reactive dodges...) as well as choreographic construction thanks to explanations and demonstrations by the instructors!
