Matt Van T., set up in a saloon to give a concert, awaits his musicians and an audience who never come... In this musical tale, our hero finds himself alone from one day to the next. To ward off fate, he invents a story full of adventures, in which he meets a fox minstrel, a mysterious owl, a luthier bear and other zany animals who will restore his taste for music and life!
With cap screwed on his head, harmonica in mouth, folk guitar in hand and feet in rhythm on bass drum, he summons up the old songs of Appalachia, the mystery of Louisiana blues and the nostalgia of Texas ballads. His compositions subtly address issues of solitude and the alter ego, but also the power of the imagination and creativity as escape routes.
