Classified a remarkable landscape
Now, let’s take a closer look at our star peak. Since 1947, the site has been classified as a remarkable landscape. Mont Myon and the neighbouring Montfort and Mont Châtel, together provide a surprising sight that can be seen from far away. Mont Myon is bordered by forests to the east and grassy meadows to the west, with a beautiful, wide-open space at the peak. Your efforts climbing to the top through the woodland will be rewarded! It’s up to you to choose the path that suits you. There are sporty trails and more leisurely ones, including of course Pressiat, the famous ‘Z’ trail. The GR 59 hiking trail also passes over this peak.
