Artphonème Theatre

The Artphonème theater is a place dedicated to the creation of live theater, song and music shows.
Its stage, with its beautiful dimensions, also allows to welcome choreographers and dancers.
Our 50-seat capacity allows us to create a close relationship with the audience.
The original creations of the Dumêmenon Company, which combine fantasy, energy and inventiveness, punctuate each season.
Artphonème also hosts a house of poetry, marked by annual events, as part of the Printemps des Poètes or evenings dedicated to poets.
The artistic partnership with the International Literary Bureau creates privileged links between artists and living authors.
Many companies find at Artphonème a place and advice allowing them to finalize their creations. It is these creations, all recent, that are given priority to be seen by the audience.
Professional and amateur companies meet in this creation center.
Artphonème takes part in the events marking the cultural life of the city, by hosting shows programmed during the Rencontres des Amateurs de Théâtre, or by participating in the Printemps Culturel de la Ville de Bourg-en-Bresse.
Artphonème and the artists of the Dumêmenon Company lead mediation actions in partnership with various structures, focused on theatrical practice and artistic reflection.
Artphonème defines itself as a plural space, with a singular atmosphere, where everyone feels a bit at home.
