Classified as a historic monument, Ferme de la Forêt is an authentic Bresse half-timbered farmhouse dating from the late 16th century. The main building is a fine example of traditional architecture, with its mysterious Saracen fireplace, gallery and lattice balustrade. The warm interior is an invitation to step back in time around the hearth, amidst a wealth of everyday objects. The visit continues with the barn and its extensive collection of old farm tools and machinery.
Finally, there's time to take a stroll around the vegetable garden, the orchard with its ancient varieties, and the ancient crops of corn, hemp and flax. In fine weather, wooden games are available outside for family challenges!
