Description
Clément Viktorovitch, doctor in political science, will be performing alone at Ekinox Bourg-en-Bresse, on Wednesday, January 20, 2027.
Clément Viktorovitch, a doctor in political science who is keen to popularize his work in the media (France Info, Clique, Quotidien), on the Internet (Twitch, Youtube) and in bookshops (Le Pouvoir Rhétorique, Logocratie), appears on stage for the first time in a gritty fiction.
l plays the communications advisor to the President of the Republic, who, after being brutally ousted, seeks revenge. His weapon? A conference in which he decides to reveal all the secrets they used to conquer power...
This show has already attracted 150,000 spectators, who have been able to learn how to decipher the discourse and, beyond that, question the damage that unfair political discourse can do to our democratic life.
For many, the show was an act of citizen resistance outside party struggles; a festive moment to become aware of the scale of the manipulations, to make our indignation vibrate, to ward off isolation and resignation, and to join forces.
In 2027, France will be going through a presidential election. Perhaps the most important. Perhaps the turning point. For this final tour, Clément Viktorovitch offers us a new version of L'art de ne pas dire adapted to the large format of zeniths and arenas. In the very places where, at the same time, the candidates' campaign speeches will be echoing, he invites us to experience an "electoral anti-meeting" to celebrate our desire for citizen mobilization.
Faced with the degradation of public debate and the toxicity of political rhetoric, will we let ourselves be taken in so easily?
