The apothecary of the Hôtel-Dieu, a former hospital pharmacy, is open to you for the European Heritage Days. Time slots available on reservation.

If you're not already familiar with Bourg-en-Bresse's magnificent apothecary, this is your chance to discover a hidden treasure: the laboratory and its stills, earthenware, glassware and wooden boxes in a beautiful 18th-century oak case. Visits that hint at the history of pharmacy, where women had their rightful place. Reserve your time. IMPORTANT: Parking on the road or on the Brou monastery site nearby.
