Typical Bresse farmhouse built in the late 16th century.
Come and discover the farm in its new setting with a renewed tour route. -
Listed as a Historic Monument in 1930.
A fine example of a half-timbered, wattle-and-daub farmhouse, dating from 1581, with an admirable cruciform gallery serving as a balcony on the upper floor. Its northern section was demolished shortly after 1900. The mitre is in the shape of a Romanesque pyramidal bell tower.
Special feature: the well is equipped with a double crank handle, a reminder that the farm was once divided between two sisters whose relationship was far from cordial!
