L'Accent Latino Becomes the First Culinary Retreat in the Bresse Region After 12 years of bringing the flavors of my native Chile to life in the heart of Bourg-en-Bresse, Carolina is pleased to announce that L'Accent Latino is taking a new direction in 2026! After running the restaurant on my own all these years, I’ve created a concept unique to the Ain region: L’Accent Latino – Culinary Residency. What is it? A vibrant space for living and unique gastronomic experiences where the kitchen is no longer reliant on a single person, but rather on the sharing of knowledge and diversity: Chefs-in-Residence: Young talents and passionate cooks take turns at the stove to share their culinary worlds for a few weeks. Creative, locally sourced cuisine: A constantly evolving menu that highlights grains, legumes, and local produce, enhanced by inspirations from near and far. From morning to night (6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.): From a breakfast buffet to lunches prepared by resident chefs, to tapas and craft beverages in the evening, as well as weekend brunches. Knowledge Sharing & Workshops: A strong local presence featuring educational workshops for schools and public events focused on sustainable food. And where do I fit into all this? I’m never far away! I’m here now to mentor these new talents, share my experience, and welcome our guests—always with the same smile.
