Spread over 2 hectares around the farmhouse, Luiz's nursery exudes a love of the land and plants. Will you recognize the shrubs? The species are chosen to adapt to Bresse. A few exotics have also adapted. The many fruit trees are planted on roots, rootballs or espaliers. There are many varieties of local old apples, some with colorful names. Have you heard of the "Belle des 4 vents"? Ornamental shrubs also make up some fine lines. We'll talk about grounds maintenance, plant science and water. Luiz will also talk to you about grafting (demonstration), and more specifically about budding. It's up to you to try it out... it's not that easy!
