The climb to Mont July, in the Revermont region, offers a view culminating at 590m. A 180° view overlooking the village of Ceyzériat. Nearby is the Vallière waterfall.

The ascent of the first foothills of the Jura massif begins at the signpost on the right as you leave the village of Ceyzériat (signposted Jasseron) and continues to the last houses in the village, leaving encouraging views of the rest of the route here and there between the old limestone buildings.
The landscape remains open until the first two hairpin bends at the halfway point. At the exit of the second, a glance at the "passerelle des vendangeurs" (grape-pickers' footbridge) is a must....The ascent of the first foothills of the Jura massif begins at the signpost on the right as you leave the village of Ceyzériat (signposted Jasseron) and continues to the last houses in the village, leaving encouraging views of the rest of the route here and there between the old limestone buildings.
The landscape remains open until the first two hairpin bends at the halfway point. At the exit of the second, a glance at the "passerelle des vendangeurs" (grape-pickers' footbridge) is a must. The climb continues in the shade of the local forest, with a long traverse and then two hairpin bends to the finish at the relay station.
There's a superb 180° panorama from the ridges towards the Roches de Cuiron, a prime climbing spot just a stone's throw from Bourg en Bresse.
