Joël Montigny is delighted to return to exhibit at L'Hôtel Marron de Meillonnas in Bourg-en-Bresse, where he will sign copies of his books and showcase his latest pastels. Portraits, landscapes, scenes from everyday life. A positive and poetic vision of the world.
Over the past 44 years, the celebrity portraitist has illustrated 60 books and written 15, including *Nostalgie Heureuse*. Joël has forged a beautiful bond of love and loyalty with his audience. Dreaming of making art accessible to all and drawing inspiration from the actors and singers he works with, Montigny embarks on a six-month exhibition tour every year to meet with the public. We remember his major, highly publicized exhibitions, such as “Noces Barbares” based on Queffelec, “Couleurs pour l’Abbé Pierre,” sponsored by Robert Hossein, “Duo pour une expo” with Hugues Aufray, “Fantasmagories de Fellini” at the Palais Royal, and “Mémoire d’Enfance” at Paris City Hall. Montigny has appeared on numerous radio and television shows, and more than a thousand articles have been written about him.
