Forêt royale de la Rousse
A royal forest as a backdrop for a bike ride. Beautiful bridle paths sheltered by magnificent trees in the heart of the Suran valley.
Take the road behind the village hall. Pass the cemetery, and at the intersection turn left towards La Rousse. Turn right onto the route de Bourg for a few metres, then left into the forestry lane. At the edge of the road, turn left onto the forest road and return to the route de Bourg. Cross the road and continue along the forest lane. Turn left under the EDF power line. Take the left-hand path just before the border and return to Simandre.
