Description

A bike route connecting two villages in the Bresse region—St. Trivier de Courtes in the Savoyard Bresse and Romenay in the Burgundian Bresse—via dirt roads. A short extension of the La Traverse greenway into the Saône-et-Loire department. About 30 minutes one way—ideal for e-bikes
Follow the L5 mountain bike trail markers—white paths and packed dirt trails Sights to see: the church in Romenay, the Musée du Champ Bressan, the Nièvres Pond, the Château de la Serve, the Carrons trail, the town’s ancient ramparts... Romenay is also a stop on the Via Cluny, leading west toward Tournus (Cluny) and east toward Cuiseaux (Jura) and Payerne (Switzerland)
