Seillon Forest

This forest stretches over a surface area of almost 600 hectares,

and is the green lung of the Bourg-en-Bresse urban area.

A historic forest

Seillon Forest is a stone’s throw from Bourg-en-Bresse, in the department of Ain and its history goes all the way back to the Middle Ages, when the forest belonged to the monks of the Carthusian monastery of Notre-Dame-de-Seillon.
